Investigator training content on the primary endpoint of their study was unable to provide the required training for assessing severity
in a serious autoimmune disease.
When they contacted the scale’s authors, they were referred to
Thalocan as experts in the clinical assessment process and training
development. Thalocan quickly reviewed the study requirements
and leveraging our network of experts, contracted an expert clinician with more than 30 years’ experience administering the scale.
The existing training material was quickly put through our formal instructional design process to develop a script. Because the project required a live action demonstration of physical tests, the script was put into a story board so our production team could create a shot list, which is an essential element to ensure the required material could be captured in time for postproduction to deliver on time for the F2F Investigator Meeting.

The recording was made 11 days after initial contact, after collecting the necessary equipment (spirometer, dynamometer, etc.) and
arranging travel for two actors, the director and the assessment
expert.
The post-production process had been carefully planned and using an inter-disciplinary approach, the first draft was available for client review just 18 days later and after 3 rounds of revisions was delivered on time for the IM.
